Helping leaders & Teams see what AI can’t

Keynotes for corporations, investors, and the leaders building what comes next. Katie Hilborn is a systems strategist, keynote speaker, and founder building regenerative AI infrastructure, turning two decades in the highest-stakes environments on earth into judgment leaders can use now.

WHY KATIE

Katie Hilborn helps leaders do the one thing AI can’t: recognize the pattern that doesn’t fit, in the moment it matters most. She spent two decades building that skill where missing a signal carried consequences no dashboard would ever flag: disaster zones, collapsed systems, leadership under real pressure across five continents.

That field experience is the credential. With nearly twenty years of global work, she has stewarded more than $1.2M in philanthropic and catalytic capital, built initiatives across multiple countries, and now founds Regenerative Infrastructure Holdings, building AI data centers powered by renewable energy and governed by community trusts. She speaks directly to leaders navigating AI, capital, and the future of long-term value, not as a commentator, but as someone building it.

On stage, she makes complex systems ideas land through vivid, real-stakes storytelling and genuine humor. The result: keynotes that are intellectually grounded, deeply engaging, and impossible to forget, each one tailored to the room.

Seeing what Others Miss:The Human Edge in the Age of AI: Pattern Recognition Under Pressure

AI is automating the easy decisions—but the calls that carry real risk are the ones no model can make. This keynote gives leaders The Architect's Read: a repeatable way to catch the weak signal everyone else explains away, and trace any problem to the structure beneath it before it becomes a crisis.

Outcome: A practical method for seeing the fault line early, knowing which signals to trust, and fixing the structure instead of the symptom.

The Conditions of Creation:Building AI infrastructure that regenerates the places it touches

Artificial intelligence is being formed inside systems designed by humans, and each one inherits what formed it. Built from extractive conditions, it draws the power, the water, and the value, and passes nothing back. Built from regenerative ones, it compounds: energy that restores, communities that participate, value that stays. The difference is decided upstream, in the conditions, before a single server is installed.

Outcome: A framework for building AI infrastructure that regenerates rather than extracts, drawn from a working model now in the ground in Nepal.

The Regenerative Capital Stack: Structuring capital that compounds value instead of extracting it

Most capital is structured to extract — and extractive structures, however well-intentioned, eventually leak. Drawing on two decades stewarding philanthropic and catalytic capital in the field and her current work financing regenerative infrastructure, Katie introduces the Regenerative Capital Stack: a three-layer model — catalytic capital, blended capital, and stewardship & governance — in which each layer de-risks and stewards the next. The talk moves past "doing less harm" toward capital architecture that strengthens the systems it touches.

What audiences leave with: a concrete framework — the three-layer stack — for structuring capital so returns and regeneration reinforce rather than compete, and a sharper test for any deal: is it built to extract, or built to endure?

sPEAKER BIO

Katie Hilborn helps leaders do the one thing AI can’t: recognize the pattern that doesn’t fit, in the moment it matters most. An Impact Architect and systems strategist with two decades in the highest-stakes environments on earth, she turns that rare capacity into a method audiences can use the next morning.

During the 2015 Nepal earthquakes, her fieldwork exposed a child-trafficking network everyone else’s chaos had hidden. That seeing became her signature. Today she applies the same pattern recognition as founder of Regenerative Infrastructure Holdings, building AI data centers powered by renewable energy and governed by community trusts, and as founder of Compass Rose International.

A 10x award-winning humanitarian recognized alongside the Dalai Lama and Jane Goodall, she has spoken at the Global Family Office Investment Summit, SXSW, and RegenWorld.
